Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Angelina specializes in a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures for both men and women and knows the importance of treating the whole person when it comes to cosmetic procedures. Because of Dr. Angelina’s holistic approach, you can rest easy knowing you are in good hands and will receive the best advice and care available.

Same Day

Many of our procedures allow for a same-day, outpatient surgery. Not only does this option save our patients the cost of an overnight stay at the hospital, it allows them to recover comfortably at their own home. Depending on what type of procedure you have, the amount of time spent at our facility could be anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. We know time is of the utmost importance and many of our patients prefer to return to their busy schedules as quickly and safely as possible following a procedure.

Mommy Makeover

Following the birth of a baby, mothers may struggle to recover their pre-pregnancy body. The stress of carrying a child for nine months and for some, nursing, can cause stretch marks, extra skin, excess fat and stretched out stomach muscles. Sometimes, no matter how much you diet or exercise, you’re still left with trouble areas that just won’t budge. Some common procedures in our mommy makeovers include a tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast lift or augmentation. Because every woman is different, our mommy makeovers are tailored for each individual woman based on her needs.

Vampire Facelift

Much like its name, the Vampire Facelift allows you to look young and fresh well beyond your age. That’s because it uses your own stem cells to shape your face, eliminate wrinkles, and aid your body to grow new, younger tissue. Due to aging, our skin naturally begins to sag, we get more wrinkles and our skin tends to turn a grey color due to lack of blood flow. A Vampire Lift defies time and offers similar results to a traditional facelift – without an invasive procedure.

Facelift

Sometimes a minimally invasive surgery such as Botox Injections or a Vampire Facelift isn’t enough to give us the results we’re looking for. With a skilled surgeon on your side and top-notch technology, a facelift can counteract aging effects such as sagging or drooping skin on the face and neck, and wrinkles. And Facelift can help you reduce those pesky wrinkles, smooth sagging skin, and give you a more youthful, natural appearance.

Botox

If you’ve noticed some lines on your face that weren’t there before such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, or frown lines, a facelift may not be necessary. Botox Cosmetic injections are a safe, easy, and affordable option that can rid you of fine lines without surgery. It’s a simple outpatient procedure that is safe and effective. Botox temporarily relaxes the muscles in your face, which enables it to become smoother.

Breast augmentation

Whether you’re interested in reshaping your breasts following a pregnancy or major weight loss, enlarging your breasts or making them smaller, we understand that breast augmentation is a personal decision that’s different for everyone. The best candidate for a breast augmentation procedure is healthy and isn’t pregnant or breast feeding. It’s also important the breasts be fully developed. Dr. Angelina will meet with you prior to surgery to discuss various options, explain the procedure, and discuss your medical history. During the consultation, you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the procedure.

Reflux Surgery

When stomach acid builds up and flows back into the esophagus, it can cause heartburn and other issues. While it’s annoying, if it’s constant, it can interfere with every-day life and be dangerous. Chronic stomach acid build-up is called GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease. GERD can cause other serious complications if left untreated. IBI Healthcare Institute offers reflux surgery to repair or replace the valve at the bottom of the esophagus when medicines don’t work.

Do you suffer from Acid Reflux?

What is GER (Acid Reflux)?
Gastroesophageal reflux (GER) happens when your stomach contents come back up into your esophagus. Stomach acid that touches the lining of your esophagus can cause heartburn, also called acid indigestion.

Bariatric Surgery

If you feel like you’ve exhausted all your efforts to get healthy and lose weight, it may be time to consider a more permanent option such as Bariatric Surgery. According to the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, if you have a Body Mass Index over 40 or are more than 100 lbs overweight – or if your BMI exceeds 35 and you have other obesity-related issues such as Type II Diabetes, you may be a good candidate for bariatric surgery.

There are multiple types of Bariatric Surgery that help patients lose weight by reducing the size of the stomach either with a gastric band, by removing a portion of the stomach, or by resecting and re-routing the small intestine to a small stomach pouch. Long-term studies show Bariatric Surgery can cause significant long-term weight loss, recovery from diabetes, it can improve cardiovascular risk factors, and prolong your life.

For patients not to keen on surgery, our offices offers a noninvasiveGastric balloon options.

Obalon/ Orbera:

Obalon and Orbera: A balloon is inserted orally into the stomach of the patient and left there for a period of months. During this period the patient is encouraged to engage in healthy food and exercise habits, guided by IBI Healthcare Institute’s weight loss center. The balloon causes patients to feel full faster and to remain that way, cutting down on hunger and cravings in a safe manner and helping them lose weight.

Tubal Reversal Center

If you underwent tubal ligation and due to life changes find yourself wanting to have another baby, it’s not too late. IBI Healthcare Institute offers tubal ligation reversal for women who have undergone tubal sterilization, which offers them the potential to have children again. During the surgery, a patient’s fallopian tubes will be restored to their natural function. About 80 percent of women who undergo a tubal reversal become fertile again. This is an outpatient procedure and is done laparoscopically, so it’s less invasive.

Tummy tuck/ Abdominoplasty

If you have stubborn loose skin and some excess stomach fat due to pregnancy or major weight loss, a tummy tuck is an effective way to tighten stretched muscles, remove excess skin and fat, and tighten remaining skin. A tummy tuck can also remove some, if not all, of the stretchmarks on the lower abdomen. Most patients who undergo this procedure report improved self-esteem as a result of the surgery.

Vein and Vascular Surgery

If you’re embarrassed to wear shorts or a bathing suit due to varicose veins, IBI Healthcare Institute can help. We offer vein and vascular surgery that’s minimally invasive and can help eliminate varicose veins. While they’re a common condition, left untreated, varicose veins can cause more serious complications such as blood clots or skin ulcers.

Access Center Dermabrasion

A less invasive way to correct scars, smile lines, and wrinkles is dermabrasion, which refinishes the top layer of skin through controlled surgical scraping. The procedure can even out the skin and remove any irregularities, such as pre-cancerous growths or sharp edges, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.

Hernia Surgery

A hernia left untreated can cause severe pain and other serious complications. While a small hernia may not require surgery, if it’s unable to be pushed back through the muscle or connective tissue, correcting it is essential to avoid further complications like strangulation, which is when the intestines gets trapped by a hernia and blood supply is cut off. This can be a very serious condition. IBI Healthcare Institute offers expert advice and minimally invasive hernia repair surgery for patients.

Gallbladder surgery

Patients who suffer from gallstones or gallbladder pain often require surgery. If left untreated, gallstones can cause more serious conditions such as the backup of bile, which can cause nausea, fever, pain, and vomiting. IBI Healthcare Institute can remove gallstones during surgery, but if the stones are a reoccurring problem or are very large, the gallbladder can be removed.
